Will India Deliver on Her Promise?

The INSEAD Emerging Markets Institute (EMI) is organizing its fifth edition of the Annual India Business Dialogue on May 14, 2016 at the Taj Santa Cruz Hotel,  Mumbai.

India is on track to remain the world’s fastest growing large economy, according to the International Monetary Fund’s latest outlook. The country’s prospects are a bright spot as growth in other emerging markets slows. In order to fuel the growth, India needs to remove the bottlenecks in its key sectors and expedite reforms to raise competitiveness and productivity. It is important to examine the challenges and opportunities: on the policy front – through the government, on the investment front – through the global investors, and on the corporate front – through the business leaders who are delivering the results. And across these three perspectives, a key question for us is: Will India deliver on her promise?
