A collective of business leaders across Europe  who are bravely answering the urgent call to shape an economy and society where people and planet thrive.Through a series of podcasts, we intend to give more voice and visibility to European entrepreneurs who reconcile business and social and environmental impact and therefore advocate for a European framework up to the challenges we face.

Consumers are increasingly concerned about the impacts of e-commerce. For this first episode of #positiveleaders Lisa Gautier and Emery Jacquillat, discuss how to reconcile profit and impact. Indeed, we explore how Lisa tackles waste in the fashion industry, changing consumers’ habits along the way, and how Emery transformed an outdated mail-order furniture company into a key player in home furnishings made in France, and an example of what mission-driven companies can achieve. In the second part of the episode, we look at how purpose-driven companies like theirs could set an example for a wider systemic change and whether change is already truly on the way.

Inclusion is regularly presented as key to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. Yet, it often feels like advancing inclusion in all layers of society is easier said than done. In this episode of Positive.leaders we explore how two positive leaders are breaking down barriers at their level and how we could accelerate change on a bigger scale. Amelie Mariage is the co-founder of Aprendices Visuales, a Spanish tech for good that harnesses the power of visual learning to help children reach their full potential. Nicolas Froissard is the general director and spokesperson for the SOS group that develops solutions to combat all forms of exclusion through a social entrepreneurship approach. In this first part, Amelie tells us how her personal experience motivated her to set up Aprendices Visuales, and what role technology could play in creating more inclusive education systems. Nicolas explains how the SOS group tackles exclusion in different fields, the main challenges they face. Together they discuss the place given to inclusion in the public debate.
