The Consumer Electronic Show (CES) is the largest conference on tech and innovation in the world. South by Southwest (SxSW), has a reputation for bringing forth emerging tech and cutting edge design — and showcases high profile speakers such as Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg. In this session, we’ll take a look at 2018’s Megatrends impacting the future of business and technology as seen in CES and SxSW. Technologies include virtual and augmented reality (VR/ AR), artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain, voice assistants, robotics, and more. This talk will also share perspectives from luminary presenters at this year’s conferences.
Jenny Watkins (EMBA ’14D) has worked with some of the world’s most admired companies, driving cultural transformation in customer experience and digital innovation, most recently as Global Head of Innovation for the AXA Group in Paris. She has lived in Silicon Valley and currently consults with executives to develop their own digital transformation roadmaps through her firm, Tadpole Consulting. Prior to that, Jenny lived in New York, serving as Vice President for Customer Experience at Wells Fargo, one of the largest banks in the USA, working through the height of the financial crisis, re-imagining the customer experience for 8 million customers.
