Come celebrate INSEAD DAY, the launch of IW50, which is a year-long celebration honoring the past, present and future of women at INSEAD and our new WOMEN IN BUSINESS CLUB
Our theme: WHAT’S YOUR STORY?
At the wonderful Théâtre Mogador – 25 rue Mogador, 75009 Paris from 6:30pm sharp
We are all made up of stories. Life stories, family stories, career stories and more.
As we reflect on the story of INSEAD’s sixty years of existence, and examine the role the female graduates have played in that history the last fifty years, since the two first women graduated in 1968. We have created an event about your stories, which should appeal to a very broad audience…
SUJIN JANG, Assistant Professor of Organizational Behavior at INSEAD, will share with us her own story, and how that has shaped who she is now. She will offer some insight into how her culture, education and story are reflected in her research on cross-cultural collaboration, and her teaching of psychological issues in management.
She will then moderate a panel which will include a mix of women and men, of different ages, cultures and career types, in the hope of giving you a diverse range of viewpoints from which to learn and be prompted into a deeper individual reflection.
We will then be honored to welcome HELENE PLOIX, MBA ’68. She joined Pechel Industries in 1997 and is now the Chairman of the Investment Committee.
Hélène held several positions in the public sector (Advisor to the Prime Minister for Economic and Financial Affairs, Executive Director of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank) and in the private sector (President of the BIMP where she created the first private equity fund in France and Management Consultant at McKinsey & Co (1968-1978) where she began her career).
She will share her story and memories, as well as her vision on how things have changed for women since then.
