Return on Character
Leadership as a Force for Good (and Good Business)
with Julie Jessup (MBA 88)
Monday, 23 September 2019
from 18:30 to 21:30
@ Heidrick & Struggles
40 rue de Courcelles
75008 – Paris
Leaders are being pushed in many directions by Digitalisation, Agility, Ethics and Compliance and “Business as a Force for Good” to name a few. How is your leadership impacting your organisation’s ability to navigate these challenges?
This conference will:
- Deepen your understanding of how High Character Leadership (leadership that reflects high moral standards), and a High Character Organizational Culture, can be leveraged in todays’ business environment;
- From the research describe which High Character Leadership Habits have the greatest impact on the bottom line;
- Examine possible gaps between your intent in practicing these behaviours and your reputation regarding these behaviours, uncovering what might be creating some of these gaps; and
- Offer practical insight into how focused, small changes in habits can create a chain reaction of improvements that drive business results.
This interactive session will be based on a seven-year research project run by the KRW Research Institute and described in “Return on Character: The Real Reason Leaders and their Companies Win” (Harvard Business Review Press) as well as in this article. The presentation will be complemented by the practical learnings from applying these findings within organisations.
This conference will be facilitated by Julie Jessup (MBA 88, Associate Partner), Kelly Garramone (Managing Director) and Stephanie Parry (Associate Partner) from KRW International.
