within the cooperation of alumni associations in the region Rhine-Ruhr Insead alumni are invited by the „Freunde der LSE e.V.“ to a guided tour at the Bundeskunsthalle in Bonn. We cordially invite you to a guided tour in English exploring “Gurlitt Status Report: Nazi Art Theft and its Consequences” at Bundeskunsthalle, Bonn, on Saturday, 10 March. The exhibition presents a selection of works from a broad spectrum of the history of art (from Dürer to Monet, to Beckmann) that have been hidden for decades. By thematising the provenance the works, the exhibition also sheds light on the objects’ complex history.
We will meet at the Foyer of the Bundeskunsthalle, Friedrich-Ebert-Allee 4, 53113 Bonn at 3.15 pm (15 min ahead of the tour).
Please register by Sunday, 3 March 2018 by email to [email protected]
We encourage you to sign-up early, as we allocate places on a first-come, first-served basis.
The guided tour is free of charge for members of the German Friends of LSE. The participation fee for non-members is €10. Please note, places are limited and will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis.
This event is an event of the alumni alliance Rhein-Ruhr and will replace the Saturday brunch in Dusseldorf!
