Frankfurt: Digitized Democracy

November 23, 2017
6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Dear Alumni,

We are delighted to host Costa Vayenas, author of “Democracy in the Digital Age: How we’ll vote and what we’ll vote about”, to speak to alumni in the Frankfurt region. Modern technology has the capacity to cause a profound change in democracy, says Costa Vayenas. Until recently, very little change had taken place in the representative System introduced in the late 1700’s. Now the system is starting to unravel.  Costa unlocks original insights into where the trends might lead. Save the date to find out more at this highly relevant alumni event!

Dr. Constantin Vayenas, IEP01Feb. is Former Managing Director of the Chief Investment Office and Head Emerging Market Research, UBS. He is now a Senior Government Consultant at the digital firm Procivis AG and a Senior Investment Consultant at Wellershoff & Partners, Ltd. He is an experienced analyst who has worked in the financial centres in London, New York and Zurich. The research for his new book is based on a careful analysis of the data and a deep understanding of the likely financial consequences of these trends.
