INVITATION:
19 APRIL 2018, 3.30PM – 9.00PM
The INSEAD Directors’ Network (IDN) and INSEAD Corporate Governance Centre (ICGC) organize a session on:
“HOW TO RE-HUMANIZE THE CORPORATION”
INTRODUCED BY
PROFESSOR LUDO VAN DER HEYDEN,
INSEAD Chaired Professor Corporate Governance,
Academic Director of the INSEAD Corporate Governance Centre (ICGC)
&
JAAP WINTER,
INSEAD Distinguished Visiting Professor of Corporate Governance.
Jaap Winter and Ludo van der Heyden, from the ICGC, will kick-off the afternoon by introducing the key trends that cause the current de-humanization.
After this, we will explore how we can do better in the future around 3 specific challenges. We will start with inspiring examples on how to do things differently, followed by a moderated discussion on what we can do as Non-Executive Directors to make a difference.
The 3 challenges and presenters who will share their stories are:
– Tech versus Touch, by Jacques van de Broek, CEO Randstad on Human Forward;
– Compliance versus Care, by Marja van Dieijen-Visser, Chair of the Executive Board Maastricht UMC+ on Human centric sustainable care;
– Stakeholders versus shareholders, by Maurice Oostendorp, CEO from de Volksbank, on Banking with a human touch: the Journey of re-humanizing business. This is achieved by implementing a shared value strategy: taking responsibility for customers, society, employees and shareholders.
Randstad is our hospitable host, Diemermere 25, Diemen.
We kick off at 16.00 sharp and round off with drinks & bites around 20.00. We aim to leave by 21.00.
Please confirm your attendance by mail to [email protected] and note that available seats are limited, therefore the first come, first served rule applies.
