Dear IDP colleagues,
Corporate Governance remains one of the hottest topics in UK business and the Governments Green Paper will continue to fuel the dialogue. I am in correspondence with Margot James, Parliamentary Under-Secretary (Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy) who is leading the Green Paper and hope to be able to get her to one of our meetings at some point in the future.
However, for the first meeting of the UK IDP Network in 2017, I have taken the feedback from the questionnaire and the preferred option was a mid-week dinner in an informal setting where colleagues old and new get a chance to network and catch up on Governance and other issues of the day.
So this is what is proposed:
- Dinner 7.30pm for 8pm
- Date: Tuesday May 16th
- Location: London, restaurant TBC
- RSVP asap (latest 1st May)
I do hope that you can make this it is always a very interesting evening. An early response would be appreciated so that I can confirm the numbers and restaurant.
