PurgoBots

Embracing disinfectant robots to keep our city sanitized and clean

THE COVID-19 PROBLEM

COVID-19 easily spreads in public places, forcing the world to stay at home. Cleaning hospitals, airports, trains, offices, and malls is performed by manual workers, and the conditions at this time are arduous and intense. How can we keep cities virus-free without endangering workers?

THE SOLUTION

PurgoBots seeks to deploy robots to restore the cities that we love. These robots would be specialized in disinfectant technologies, such as UV-C light or chemical solutions. COVID-19 has created urgency around issues of sanitation and hygiene, with Singapore, for example, set to tighten sanitation standards later this year. We are exploring various business models including rental and subscription plans, targeting health centres, maintenance companies, municipal governments, restaurants, and households as customers, with ambitions to build PurgoBots into a leading cleanliness standard. The market opportunity is strong, and technology is rapidly evolving to meet it.
