Kees Kruythoff is Chairman & CEO of the LIVEKINDLY Collective. The LIVEKINDLY Collective’s ambition is to build the pre-eminent global plant-based food company and its vision to make plant-based living the new norm. The company has several plant-based food brands (Fry’s Family Foods, Oumph!, LikeMeat, and No Meat), as well as LIVEKINDLY Media.

Kees has worked for 27 years for Unilever in different senior roles across Europe, Africa, Asia and Latin America. The last 8 years he was part of the global Unilever Executive team, first as President North America and later as President of the Global Home Care division. Kees is extremely passionate about the private sector as a force for good and is proud to have led the implementation of the Unilever Sustainable Living Plan. He was recognized as one of the 10 most prominent business leaders in Brazil in sustainability. At the beginning of 2020, he made the switch to LIVEKINDLY Collective as their Chairman and CEO.

The fireside chat will be moderated by Cristina Prat (MBA’19D). Cristina is a member of the Dutch INSEAD Sustainability Club and a core member of the Climate Leaders coalition supported by the CIC. After graduating from INSEAD in 2019, she co-founded FUL, an impact-led biotech startup developing climate active technologies and products harnessing the benefits of microalgae.

The event will be held at De Groene Afslag, a circular hub that seeks to inspire people to do things differently.
