Celebration Global INSEAD Day INSEAD’s 60th anniversary

Thursday September 12, 2019

Dear INSEAD Alumni,

In the 2019/2020 academic year, INSEAD will celebrate its 60th anniversary. Founded by Georges Doriot and a circle of young, bold pioneers, INSEAD brought business education using the case method to Europe. The school they established is to this day a diverse and entrepreneurial institution that promotes prosperity and peace around the world.

On Global INSEAD Day – 12th September 2019 – INSEAD faculty, staff and alumni are set to celebrate this milestone with many events around the world. In the Netherlands, we hope to welcome many of you to an alumni party. The event will be at the Hangar in Amsterdam-Noord and there will be many drinks, bites and beats!

Next to the party, we’ve organized a community event that perfectly aligns with the ambitions formulated by the Hoffman Institute for Business and Society. Together, as a community, we will start making the world a better place with a small step and in a special, fun way: we are going ‘Plastic fishing’.

Jump aboard and start your trip on the Amsterdam canals, where skippers show you the most beautiful and undiscovered places in the city, while you and your team will contribute to plastic-free waters.

Please register here for the party and Plastic Fishing [For the Plastic Fishing we have limited space, so be fast as it will be on first come first serve basis].

Times:

14.30-17.00        Plastic Fishing (optional program)
Aboard at Sea Palace (Oosterdokskade 34 – Amsterdam)

18.00-23.00        Celebration drinks, bites and beats on the beach of Hangar Amsterdam
Aambeeldstaat 36, 1021 KB Amsterdam

So get your class, your special interest groups, and all your other INSEAD friends together and come party with us on Global INSEAD Day!

We look forward to seeing you on the 12th of September!
