INSEAD Women event: Firms of the Future at Bain & Company

November 29, 2018
4:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Dear female alumni,

We hope you had a wonderful summer and enjoyed the unusual warm weather here in the Netherlands! We were happy to see so many of you during the European Alumni Forum last June and are looking forward to again seeing you during our next event on November 29th.

The event is kindly hosted by Bain & Company (Rembrandt Tower, Amsterdam), whose partner Jenny Davis-Peccoud will share her perspective on what the ‘Firm of the Future’ looks like. Over the next years, major structural forces such as technology and a changing workforce will shape a new era of business: what will it take for companies to be successful in that era? To not just survive, but thrive?

Jenny is joined by our second speaker, Cara Antoine who is Chief Marketing & Operations Officer at Microsoft Netherlands. Cara is highly passionate about business transformation and operational excellence, and with her Microsoft team she contributes innovative solutions with a positive impact on society and the economy.

The presentations will be followed by a Q&A to have an inspiring group discussion! We will end the event with celebratory drinks and a further opportunity to exchange experiences in an informal setting. As snacks will be served during the drinks, please let us know in case you have any dietary requirements.

Short biographies of our speakers:

Jenny Davis-Peccoud is a partner at Bain & Company’s Amsterdam office and has been with the firm since 1992. She also spent a significant part of her career in Bain’s London office. She has an extensive list of publications, including in Harvard Business Review, Wall Street Journal and Forbes.

Cara Antoine is Chief Marketing & Operations Officer at Microsoft Netherlands. Prior to her career at Microsoft, Cara spent ~10 years at Shell in general manager functions leading teams of 100+ employees with direct influence on thousands of employees. She started her career at Polaroid and Hewlett Packard and she has worked and lived in the US and several European countries. Cara has a Doctor Business Administration (DBA) degree from Bradford University, Graduate School of Management & Law, UK and the Tias-Nimbas Business School, NL where her research thesis explored individual behaviours that explain a manifestation in relationships that influence collaborative innovation in technology at scale.
