Invitation: Artificial Intelligence at ING’s HQ

September 29, 2022
4:30 pm - 7:00 pm

Join us on Thursday 29 September for an inspiring session on practical applications of Artificial Intelligence and important consequences of its use at ING’s HQ Campus & Innovation Lab.

The following 3 key note speakers will share their views, from an academic, scale up and corporate perspective:

  • Marc Salomon (INSEAD MCCC ‘13S), Dean Amsterdam Business School and Professor in Decision Science
  • Hervé Huisman (INSEAD MBA’10J), Co-Founder & CEO of Gradyent, which just raised €10m Series A
  • Natasha Govender-Ropert, Data Science Manager in KYC, Fraud and Cybersecurity at Global ING analytics

What are the most relevant practical applications of AI that currently already exist or soon will change the game, for example in the energy transition (Gradyent) and in financial crime (ING)? How do we decide which use of data/AI is fair? How can we deal with discriminatory biases that arise?

After the key notes there will be room for discussion and Q&A. Of course you will be given enough time to network and connect with the other participants after the talks, half of which will be from ING!

Timing:
16:30 – 17:00: Walk-In
17:00 – 18:00: Speakers including Q&A
18:00 – 19:00: Networking and drinks/snacks

We are co-organizing this session with the ING Lioness D&I network. Lioness mission is to promote gender equity at all levels in ING. Purpose of the session is to connect a diverse group of executives around this relevant trend, regardless of your AI knowledge. Marc Salomon will start with defining AI, to make sure we all have the same starting point.

We are truly looking forward to it and expect to learn about this highly relevant topic in an interactive way with all of you. Don’t miss out, we have limited seats, first come, first serve.

Best wishes,
Kirsten Spahr van der Hoek & Chantal Stoffelsma
