André Haardt is an entrepreneur and investor passionate about building and contributing to the next generation of purpose driven companies. André founded Squla, a European online learning platform that engages children, parents and teachers toward more effective and inspiring education. All through gamification and top notch highly engaging content. Served as CEO from 2009-2017 and sold Squla to US private equity firm Levine Leichtman Capital Partners in 2018. Currently active as shareholder and informal advisor to management. André loves to solve tough consumer problems and make boring things fun. He currently invests in and advises SaaS platforms that are revolutionising the way we learn, work, stay healthy and transport ourselves.

André served in prior executive roles at Philips Electronics’ Sonicare division, Accenture and a VC funded online healthcare start-up. André holds an M.Sc. from the Rotterdam School of Management and a B.Com. from the University of Western Australia.

Joost de Haas is an Adjunct-Professor of Entrepreneurship at INSEAD since 2009, where he teaches Managing Corporate Turnarounds. Joost is also a visiting professor at University of Stellenbosch Business School and Amsterdam Institute of Finance. Until recently, Joost was the CEO of Roto Smeets Group and Executive Director of one of Europe’s leading printing and multimedia companies. After graduating with an MBA from INSEAD in 1986, Joost joined McKinsey & Company. Upon leaving McKinsey he has held several executive and senior management positions in mostly FMCG and telecommunications companies, before turning an entrepreneur in 1994. Joost also holds a Master’s degree in Quantitative Business Economics and a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the Erasmus University Rotterdam.
