The COVID-19 pandemic has upended life as we know it. With some businesses struggling to survive and governments sinking beneath the new ocean of debt, what will happen to the idea of the responsible business and the broader sustainability agenda?

“Progress occurs when courageous, skilful people seize the opportunity to change things for the better.”

At the Sustainability Club we wholeheartedly believe in this statement of President Harry Truman. INSEAD Alumni are courageous, skilful people and we have, more than ever, the opportunity to change things for the better.

To give you inspiration and practical ideas, we are launching a series of webinars exploring how we can accelerate sustainable business opportunities emerging from the current crisis.

In this first episode Maurits Groen will be interviewed by Hans Reus about what it takes to be successful in sustainable businesses, which hurdles need to be overcome, and what opportunities he sees for INSEAD alumni in the Netherlands. After the discussion you will get the opportunity to ask questions to Maurits.
