Dott is a leading European micro-mobility scale-up with a mission “to free our cities with clean rides for everyone.” Dott offers e-scooters and e-bikes for shared use to make cities less polluted and congested. Launched in 2018 in Amsterdam, Dott now operates a fleet of 50,000 scooters and bikes in 40 cities across 10 European countries, including Paris, London, and Rome. It has raised $170m funding in several rounds, the latest being Series B in February 2022.
Dott’s business model relies entirely on in-house operations, giving it greater control over hardware, logistics, and maintenance, resulting in high-quality service for its users. It also develops multiple partnerships in each city, creating strong ties with the local ecosystem.
This meet the company event will be about what it takes to manage a scale-up and stay ahead of the competition in the fast-paced clean mobility industry. Maxim Romain (MBA 10D), Co-founder & COO of Dott, will talk about the company’s mission, strategy, and business model; as well as about some of the challenges he faced when creating and leading a start-up. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A session and networking drinks.
