RCLG Speaker event with Chris Chong of Capitaland Retail

Mr Chris Chong is the Deputy Managing Director of Capitaland Retail in Singapore from 1 May 2018. In this role, he is responsible for the strategic innovations and development of New Retail within Capitaland Retail. These include the deployment of e-payment, e-vouchers and omni-channel strategies as well as all digital initiatives across the Capitaland malls in Singapore. Join us to hear Chris give his perspectives on retail development in Singapore.
Prior to this, Chris was the CEO of Orchard Turn Developments Pte Ltd, a joint venture company between CapitaLand and Sun Hung Kai Properties between 2013 to 2018. In this role, he was responsible for the strategic, financial and asset management of ION Orchard as well as the developer sales of The Orchard Residences. Chris was also formerly the Senior Vice President and Head of the Asset Management team for Starhill Global REIT, a S$2.7 billion REIT listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange with office and retail assets in Singapore, Malaysia, China, Australia and Japan.
