Alumni Forum – The Netherlands

We would like to extend our thanks to the NAA of the Netherlands who did a fantastic job of hosting the Europe Alumni Forum in June.  A sold-out event, the forum gathered a great crowd of INSEAD alumni, faculty and inspirational speakers. The forum addressed a number of major themes facing business leaders today, including the changing geopolitical landscape, the growing demands on our environment and new technologies. INSEAD Alumni Recognition Awards

Three outstanding alumni have received the INSEAD Force for Good Award 2018: Marcelle Speller MBA’82, Denis von der Weit MBA’61 and Sameer Hajee MBA’04D. This is the first-ever prestigious accolade presented to INSEAD alumni who have demonstrated exemplary social impact in their professional or community work. Introducing the NAA of Colombia – our 49th NAA!

The National Alumni Club of Colombia was voted in as a National Alumni Association during the General Assembly at the AVM in Fontainebleau.   Under the leadership of Maria Sylvia MBA’04D, the NAA of Colombia will continue to engage and energise the INSEAD alumni community while working closely with the school to further strengthen INSEAD’s brand in Latin America.

 

Alumni Volunteers Meeting – June 2018

Representatives from 34 National Alumni Associations, 3 National Alumni Clubs, 5 Global Clubs, and a host of IAA and IAF volunteers came together at the AVM in Fontainebleau to share best practices, recieve updates from the school and participate in a special session with INSEAD faculty Steve Knight on the art of communication.  We also hosted our first MBA fair in conjunction with the launch of  the Young Alumni Membership Offer.  Current MBA students had the chance to meet the volunteer leaders and learn more about life after INSEAD.

Re-election of IAA President and IAA Exco Members

We are delighted that Sadia Khan decided to serve for another three-year term as President of the IAA. Sadia has loyally served the IAA and the alumni community as its president for the past three years and with her team, has delivered on all of the objectives outlined in their three-year strategic plan. The memers of the IAA Exco and Sadia were unanimously re-elected at the General Assembly during the June AVM in Fontainebleau.  We would like to thank Sadia and her team for their incredible commitment, drive and collaborative spirit as we work together to strengthen alumni engagement.
