Despite our busy 2022 programme, your diligent bureau has been hard at work planning the 2023 Spring Tournament.

With the help of our Spanish golfing camarades, we are proposing to play on three courses in and around Jerez de la Frontera:

• Majestic Montecastillo, a Jack Nicklaus course on Friday, former home to the Volvo and Peugeot masters

• Ballena by the seaside on Saturday, by the seaside as its name resonates ,

        allowing for pre and/or post golf bathing

• Sherry Golf situated in Jerez with a shotgun start on Sunday and lunch afterwards in the golf

Dinners, and accommodation for couples, will be in the authentic Bodega Tio Pepe situated in the centre of Jerez within the Gonzales-Byass Wineries, cradle of Tio Pepe,  next to the Alcazar and the Cathedral

For singles, at Hotel Asta Regia, a four star hotel nearby

All (only) 24 rooms of Hotel Bodega have been reserved for the Salamander Golf Society, room registrations will be made on a first come first served basis.

After the Saturday round, we shall be tasting the nectars seeping from the soletras during a visit at GonzalezByass winery, as a warm up for a gala evening in their historic cellars.

The area offers multiple opportunities for visits and discoveries, a programme for non-golfers will be organized.

Air travel to Sevilla, Jerez de la Frontera or Cadiz with direct flights from all over Europe, or via Madrid.

Reservations for early arrival on Thursday, or additional nights have to be made individually and directly with the hotel reception, and paid on departure. The room prices for individual reservations will be the same as for the SGS package.
