As part of INSEAD’s iW50 celebrations the school has undertaken for the first time a global study to assess how alumnae impact the organisations and societies in which they work. In this webinar, INSEAD professor Zoe Kinias will reveal the results of this research and discuss how the iW50 goals will be carried on by INSEAD’s Gender Initiative.
The webinar will be moderated by Helen Duce (GEMBA ’13, Executive Director of the INSEAD Gender Initiative) and will be joined by Ilian Mihov, Dean of INSEAD who will talk about the school’s work to put societal needs at the centre of value creation.

Zoe Kinias is an Associate Professor of Organisational Behaviour at INSEAD and the Academic Director of INSEAD’s Gender Initiative. Zoe’s teaching topics focus on leadership development and social issues at the intersection of business and society. She conducts psychological research in applied/business contexts.
Ilian Mihov is Dean of INSEAD and a Professor of Economics. His research is on topics related to monetary policy, fiscal policy and economic growth. He holds a PhD degree from Princeton University and a B.S. in business administration from the Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina where, in 2006, he was recognised as a Distinguished Young Alumnus.
Helen Duce is Executive Director of INSEAD’s Gender Initiative, Leader Lean In Singapore and a sustainable business consultant. She has an MBA from INSEAD (EMBA’13Dec) and is an adjunct Professor at CUHK (Chinese University of Hong Kong) where she teaches sustainable business.

2016/2017 was an exceptional financial year for INSEAD. Revenues saw double-digit growth and donor gifts and pledges reached a new high, increasing the school’s impact significantly. We would like to extend our thanks to the NAA of the Netherlands who did a fantastic job of hosting the Europe Alumni Forum in June. A sold-out event, the forum gathered a great crowd of INSEAD alumni, faculty and inspirational speakers. The forum addressed a number of major themes facing business leaders today, including the changing geopolitical landscape, the growing demands on our environment and new technologies. Three outstanding alumni have received the INSEAD Force for Good Award 2018: Marcelle Speller MBA’82, Denis von der Weit MBA’61 and Sameer Hajee MBA’04D. This is the first-ever prestigious accolade presented to INSEAD alumni who have demonstrated exemplary social impact in their professional or community work. Representatives from 34 National Alumni Associations, 3 National Alumni Clubs, 5 Global Clubs, and a host of IAA and IAF volunteers came together at the AVM in Fontainebleau to share best practices, recieve updates from the school and participate in a special session with INSEAD faculty Steve Knight on the art of communication. We also hosted our first MBA fair in conjunction with the launch of the Young Alumni Membership Offer. Current MBA students had the chance to meet the volunteer leaders and learn more about life after INSEAD.
