Warfare has changed dramatically since the Geneva Convention in 1949. Wars between nations may be fewer, but now it’s long-running internal wars without clearly marked battlefields and the rise of new weapons and technologies. Today, it is civilians that bear the brunt of armed conflicts.

What is the future of humanitarian aid? How can an organization like the ICRC address the needs of victims, while addressing the ever more complex challenges and stay relevant? Find out on September 23rd.
