The latest version of the GII report ranks Switzerland as number one for the fifth year in a row. The report is rich in information and data. It pinpoints the real reasons for Silicon Valley’s success and highlighst the policies that can help other countries and regions of the world capture the same kind of growth and create an environment to build great companies. About Switzerland it says: “The Swiss recipe stands out for its historical engineering culture, its strong emphasis on education, especially of the vocational sort, and its open mindset where talent comes and goes freely.”

INSEAD Team Wins Dragon Boat Trophy, Again!

INSEAD won the 10th Dragon Boat Trophy on the lake of Zürich this weekend for the third time in five years. Scorching sun and high temperatures did not deter INSEAD alumni from defending the trophy. Teams from MBA-HSG and Stanford alumni clubs finished second and third.

The annual race is a fun competition amongst top business school alumni and is organized by SAMBAplus. INSEAD alums have been participating in the race since 2011. INSEAD was also the winner in 2012. The INSEAD team was recruited and organized by Swiss NAA volunteer Rajiv Shetty, MBA 06D.

Online networking is efficient and we all use it, but it doesn’t have the same spontaneity and energy as face to face networking has. So refresh your INSEAD spirit by joining us at Auberge La Mère Royaume at noon on September 23, 2015. Please note that after this kickoff event, we will be hosting INSEAD Refresh lunches at the same venue every second Wednesday of every second month until May 16, 2016.
