You are invited for an afternoon of sailing on beautiful Lac Leman.

INSEAD Sailing Experience on Lac Leman, September 17, 2016
Learn about and enjoy an afternoon of sailing on a Surprise class yacht (seats 5 and measures 7.65m in length). This fun event is for both new and experienced sailors. The experience includes introduction on board by the skipper, followed by some tacking and gybing techniques, and a fun regatta.  We have reserved 5 boats. Each boat has room for four participants. The invitation is extended to alumni and their partner. Please, register by July 28, 2016. Digital Health : Today’s Reality and Tomorrow’s Potential 2016 (CHIC Conference Report)

_ABP1534Digital Health technology is a disruptive force in industry. It has the potential to be life-enhancing and life-extending. How does it impact life science industry? Who will lead the change?

A distinguished panel addressed these questions at an event in April 2016. It was hosted by Bristol-Myers Squibb, organized by Aleksandar Ruzicic, President of the INSEAD Healthcare Club of Switzerland, with support from regional partners Technologie Forum Zug and Canton Zug.

About 80 people participated in the event, including INSEAD alumni and guests from pharmaceutical and medtech companies, startups, insurance and technology companies. Read the report (pdf)

Sept 16 Full Moon Party at La Société Nautique de Genève

Dear Alumni,
You and your partner are invited to the first ever Full Moon Party at the spectacular clubhouse of the Société Nautique de Genève, winner of the America’s Cup in 2003 and 2007.

INSEAD FULL MOON PARTY Dinner & Dance

As the full moon rises over Lac Léman, there will be dancing to the sounds of a popular DJ. Delicious food, live cooking by the SNG chefs and a variety of drinks will be offered throughout the evening. The dress code is white.

The Full Moon Party is the kick-off event to establish a new MBA scholarship fund for Swiss candidates supported by the INSEAD Alumni community in Switzerland. The entire cost of the Full Moon Party is sponsored by the INSEAD Alumni Association Switzerland and the Chairman and Directors of the INSEAD Alumni Fund, so that 100% of the entrance fee payment is a tax-deductible donation to the fund. For a Swiss taxpayer, this means the actual cost after tax could be as low as a little more than half the ticket face value!

Markus Brändle, Group Head of Cyber Securtiy, ABB

Markus Brändle is globally responsible for all aspects of cyber security for the ABB Group, including ensuring that ABB products and system offerings support customers’ cyber security needs. He holds a PhD in Computer Science, ETH.

Leon V. Schumacher, CEO, DigitalEkho & pEp Security

Leon is an IT/Security entrepreneur, whose companies DigitalEkho and pEp offer services and solutions in privacy and IT security. He is also the former Group CIO of Novartis and ArcelorMittal. He has completed post-MBA programs at INSEAD and Kellogg, and holds an MBA from HEC Paris and MSc Electrical Engineering, ETH.

Carsten Tschritter, CTO, FAST Protect AG

Carsten is an entrepreneur with two decades of experience leading companies and developing innovative products that protect people, property and critical infrastructure assets utilizing video surveillance and other technologies. He is a graduate of the University of Chemnitz.
