UN Lunchtime Tour: Meet Michael Møller, Director General, October 20, 2016, Geneva

This is an opportunity to visit the Palais des Nations, European Headquarters of the UN and its largest office after New York with a staff of nearly 10.000 throughout the various agencies, of which 3.200 on the Palais des Nations campus. It is the operational centre of the UN or as the Director General, Michael Møller (who you will meet on the tour), says, “Geneva is the kitchen, when New York is the dining room”.  Beginning as the League of Nations in Geneva, the UN headquarters was moved to New York after the Second World War to ensure that the United States, which was not part of the League of Nations (even if Woodrow Wilson was its main supporter), would be at the heart of the organisation. The INSEAD UN experience begins with a tour, followed by a meeting with Michael Møller, then a private lunch on campus. Places are limited to 20, so please register early.

INSEAD Doing a Buyout in Switzerland: Vinci Capital & Omnisens, October 6, 2016, Geneva
