The idea for The Salamander Challenge was born of a conversation between two INSEAD alumni volunteers. The fundraising effort reinforces the importance of investing in our school and its reputation as a leading MBA program, promoting business as a force for good.

The fundraising campaign culminates on INSEAD Giving Day (#INSEADGivingDay) on 21 February 2017.  Join this global alumni-driven initiative by making a gift of any amount to INSEAD on or before INSEAD Giving Day, February 21.

Sami and Sally our global ambassadors are being relayed around the world from NAA to NAA advocating our shared belief in diversity, tolerance and understanding. Their adventures are documented on Facebook and twitter.

The 11th Dragon Boat Trophy took place on the Lake of Zürich in August. This time the INSEAD team rowed into third place, after winning the trophy three out of the last six years. The winner was St Gallen in a well-contested competition.

 

Rajiv Shetty, MBA’06D, who organized the team in 2016, said that besides having a tremendous amount of fun, the young and winning St. Gallen team was a worthy challenger. Since 2011, a dozen INSEAD alumni have been recruited each summer to participate in the annual fun rowing competition organized by SAMBAplus for top business school alumni.

We are very proud to announce that our fundraising efforts have materialized into the successful creation of the first INSEAD ALUMNI OF SWITZERLAND endowed scholarship for Swiss candidates with over €500,000 paid-in capital to date !

INSEAD has a fantastic alumni community in Switzerland ; your generosity is a sign of friendship, commitment and trust. The achievement of this common goal was celebrated at our memorable “Full Moon Party” on September 16.
