Say goodbye to the winter in style with a delicious cheese fondue at the charming Café de l’Evéché, located right below the Lausanne Cathedral. The fondue dinner party is now one of our legendary INSEAD alumni social events. The informal event is a Fondue Moitié Moitié (Vacherin Fribourgeois, Gruyère) served with wine or water, followed by a coffee. Book early as seating is limited. We look forward to seeing you there.

Matthias Gysler, PhD
Chief Economist, Swiss Federal Office of Energy (SFOE)
Currently leading the policy and planning team, Matthias Gysler has been with the SFOE since 2003 and has been Chief Economist since 2008. He is responsible for energy market regulation for electricity and gas, as well as socio-economic energy research and economic analysis of energy policy. Since the end of 2004 he is the Head of the Energy Policy Section, since April 2011 head of the Market Regulation Section and since spring 2005 additionally Deputy Head of the Energy Economy Division. Dr Gysler also lectures at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (ETHZ). He studied economics and econometrics at the University of Zurich, Switzerland, earning a doctorate in experimental economics in 2002. He worked concurrently at the ETH as a research assistant. Before his studies he worked several years for an insurance company.

Helen Vasilevski’s international career spans almost 25 years. She brings a consumer-centric focus to highly branded products and services, having held roles at P&G and Diageo, as well as executive roles including CEO and CMO for private-equity funded and family-led SME companies. She is an active mentor and coach to mid-level executives and serves on the board of Purism (USA), Newron Motors/Manta Motors (France), and the Global Advisory council of the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University (Canada).
