Delving into advances in strategy, policy, practices, technology, tactics and the full panoply of war available to cyber defenders.

Speaker: Sam Curry, CSO of Cybereason

Moderator: Vikas Pandurkar, INSEAD TMT Global Club, AMP’12

Description: The asymmetry in cyber conflict today favors attackers, and the situation only seems to be getting worse. Our collective goal is to accelerate the rates of improvement, innovation, productivity and efficiency of defenders collectively and individually.

Having seen how attackers are innovating, it’s now time to delve into advances in strategy, policy, practices, technology, tactics and the full panoply of war available to cyber defenders. Simply doing what we’ve done before isn’t enough. Continuing what we’re doing isn’t enough. The seeds exist to turn the tables, but it won’t happen by itself.

Join this session to see what trends are in process, from government policies and practitioner best-practices to new technologies and areas for innovation.

Topics covered will include threat intelligence advances, detection and response strategies, software bills-of-material, applications for machine learning (and even AI), identity innovation, governance and compliance advances, and much more.
