Legal guidelines for fundraising
As an independent institution and a not for profit organisation INSEAD is dependant upon donations in addition to the revenue generated by our programmes and offerings. To this end we have a dedicated development team who will run campaigns, including the Robin Hood Campaign with each class within Degree Programmes. For instance, Robin Hood is aimed at raising money for need based scholarships for an incoming Degree Programme student and the student teams supporting the Robin Hood Campaigns have always been very creative in coming up with ways to engage the community and collect funds.
The Advancement team is also running campaigns sponsored by the Dean of INSEAD, and they are engaging with our INSEAD Alumni community on various cases for support. Typically donations support specific projects, such as the INSEAD Singapore Campus Extension or the INSEAD Europe Campus Renovation, or research to stay at the frontier of Management Education or the Deans Innovation Fund for creative and innovative ideas.
When you want to run an event and collect donations, your first point of contact should be the Student Life team to discuss how your event can support the efforts of INSEAD in order to unlock the institutional support and backing for your initiative.
