Events
Philanthropy is an obvious way to balance wealth and purpose. But it is not a one-size-fits all process, and it can be quite daunting. This session will help you develop a strategy that meets both your economic means and your purpose. We will also share the personal experiences of a wide range of philanthropists. These will guide you through the pitfalls, answer your questions and help make your giving as painless, impactful and rewarding as possible.
Network and the INSEAD Healthcare Management Initiative
This half day conference will bring together clinicians, entrepreneurs and innovators at the forefront of innovation within the NHS and beyond. We will hear about the healthcare innovation landscape in the UK, opportunities and challenges in the current climate, as well as from the people making headway in this space: KHP Ventures (an early-stage fund focused on healthcare technology), SC1 (London’s new Science District), CITI – Guy’s and St Thomas Centre for Innovation, Transformation and Improvement, as well as from innovators in the field of patient-centred research and service improvement, including from INSEAD alumni.
Join Sophie Bertin (MBA 02J), Global President, INSEAD Women in Business Alumni Club for a quintessentially British Afternoon Tea. We’re meeting in a beautiful library looking out across the Thames and the Houses of Parliament.
Greet fellow alumni attendees at a Champagne Reception at WPP Sea Containers office, which is nestled between the iconic Oxo Tower and Blackfriars Bridge with stunning views of the Thames and beyond.
The INSEAD Alumni Forum Europe will take place on Friday 24 March in London, featuring a full day of thought-provoking and stimulating discussions centred on the theme of Rethinking Wealth and Purpose.
Join us at the Gall Ball to party the night away at the iconic Natural History Museum.
Join us for a tour of art galleries with the Contemporary Art Society around central London and Mayfair. A curator will lead groups of 10 to visit around five galleries. Expect a mix of big names and smaller spaces that you may not know. The event will round off with a glass of bubbles.
A gentle, soulful afternoon of poetry, music, conversation and a little sustenance for the body as well as the soul. The afternoon includes recitals by INSEAD London’s resident alumni poets Timothy Ades (MBA 66) and Rachna Chowla (MBA 09D). You are also very welcome to bring along your favourite poems or stories to share, or even a song or more (it is likely that we will have a piano). We have organised these improvised events before and they were filled with laughter, spontaneity and joy, so please come and be a part of this one too!
Join Akos Forczek (MBA 97J), Chairman and Founder, Top Selection and Trevor Stirling (MBA 89D), Wine Expert and Drinks Analyst, Sanford C. Bernstein for an extra-ordinary wine tasting experience. The duo will present a selection of fine and rare wines that have been carefully curated to thrill the palates of alumni wine buffs.
