Chat GPT has only been available for a few months yet it has grown like no previous app, amidst rumours that AI could replace swathes of jobs, especially higher level technology, creative and professional roles that seemed safe from automation. How can we work with AI, in which areas is it most useful, and what effect will it have on our careers in the future?…

The UK Financial Services industry continues to face many challenges and opportunities both internationally and domestically, be it ripples from US bank runs, liability-driven investment woes or changes forced by Brexit and generative AI. Overlaying that is an ever-developing mosaic of local and global regulations to try and ensure a better and safer industry for all stakeholders and ensure the industry can be a force for good. With that in mind, we are delighted that Sam Woods has agreed to update alumni on his and the PRA’s work in the UK and more widely to help maintain and build the UK’s status as a leading financial centre….

INSEAD professors Peter Zemsky and Frederic Godart will be in London to present their white paper, “Regulating NFTs: Striking the Balance between Business Innovation and Risks,” to the UK Parliament in January. We are fortunate that Peter and Frederic have kindly made time to discuss their findings with alumni.
