Afternoon tour
Sir John Soane’s Museum
Thursday 16 March

Join us for a private guided tour of the historic house, museum and library of distinguished 19th century architect, Sir John Soane. At Soane’s request, the house has been left unchanged since his death 180 years ago.

Explore some of the most spectacular rooms in the museum, including Soane’s private apartments, hidden from view for 160 years before restoration in 2015. View paintings by Canaletto and J.M.W. Turner, a 3,000 year-old sarcophagus of an Egyptian king, and William Hogarth’s A Rake’s Progress. The tour also explores Soane’s famed Model Room, where 40 of the finest architectural models in the world are on display, depicting ancient monuments and Soane’s own buildings.

Limited places available.
