Why do we say we want diversity? What does diversity mean in practice?
Everyone is in favour of diversity, but how widely is the idea actually put into practice? How far do real workplaces reflect the wider community? This panel will take a look at the desirability of diversity in companies, what issues arise in trying to make a diverse workplace a reality and even whether there could be tensions between the desire for a diverse workforce and one with shared views, values and behaviours.
