Michael Kent (MBA 03D) is a serial payments/fintech entrepreneur and investor as both an angel, with more than 80 investments and venture partner at Headline. He founded Small World Financial Services (remittance industry buy and build, exited in 2018), Azimo (digital payments software, exited to Papaya Global in 2022) and Tandem Bank (UK consumer lending focused bank, now majority owned by QIA). Before becoming an entrepreneur, he held senior corporate development roles at News Corporation and WPP, having started his career in consulting with Accenture and Arthur D Little.

 

Anil Nanda (MBA 08J) is Capco’s European Head of Payments. Prior to joining Capco, he has worked as a Banking and Payments leader with consultancies Bain & Company and McKinsey & Company. Anil also spent 6+ years at Mastercard in their Mastercard Advisors business and also as part of their Global Strategic Partnerships team. He has extensive experience of working with schemes, acquirers, issuers and FinTechs.

 

Retno Widuri (MBA 08D) has been working in payments since 2011 and has touched on various elements of payment ecosystem: merchant, payment provider (card acquirer) and rails (schemes). At Binance she provides global retail and corporate users with payment products that allow them to buy/sell crypto, as well as top up wallets. She works closely with card acquirers, banks, open banking providers and local fintechs or lschemes to build payment products suited to local needs. Previously, she worked for payment companies in DACH and Scandinavia, MasterCard and Amex.

 

Agnes Woolrich (MBA 05D) has worked in payments and financial services since 2006. Currently she heads up the Customer Solutions team for Mastercard in the UK and Ireland. As part of this role, Agnes leads the team to deliver value to UK & Ireland customer by bringing together relevant products and services from across Mastercard, as well as ensuring the robust and successful design and development of products and solutions. Prior to this role, Agnes led the Marketing and Communications team at Mastercard. Agnes started her career at Procter & Gamble, and then went on to spend 11 years at American Express in senior product and marketing roles.
