Employee Engagement
Thursday 9 February

This event is sponsored by Steelcase

Employee disengagement is at pandemic levels globally. Nearly a quarter of the world’s 1.3 billion full-time employees are actively disengaged in their work, outnumbering their engaged counterparts by nearly two to one, according to Gallup. Not only are these disengaged workers negative and lacking alignment with the organisation’s goals, they can actively work at cross-purposes with the company, draining resources and energy. Conversely, when organisations get it right, engaged employees can create a competitive edge. Leading organisations from Google to John Lewis and Virgin receive praise for how engaged their employees are and for the impact this has on company results.

Key questions for the panel:
• Does employee engagement really matter?
• What are the most important factors impacting employee engagement?
