Michael Liebreich is Chairman and CEO of Liebreich Associates and co-managing partner of EcoPragma Capital. He is an honorary fellow of the Energy Institute and visiting professor at Imperial College London. Formerly he was a member of the UK Board of Trade, the UK Taskforce on Energy efficiency (chairing the subgroup on industry), an advisor to the UN on Sustainable Energy for All, a member of the board of Transport for London and the founder of BloombergNEF.

Michael serves on a number of industry boards, including the UAE’s Women in Sustainability Environment and Renewable Energy (WiSER), RELP (formerly GreenMap Association) and the Hawthorn Club, a global network for senior women in the energy industry. Michael has a master’s in engineering from Cambridge University and an MBA from Harvard.

Moderator: Wendy Lam (MBA 03D) is CEO of Capsol Technologies, a listed carbon capture technology company in Oslo. She is on the Advisory Board for Chrysalix Venture Capital, on the board of Green Transition Holding, a committee member for the INSEAD’s Alumni Energy Global Club and serves as an executive mentor for Masdar’s WiSER (Women in Sustainability, Environment, and Renewable Energy) platform.
