Seasoned professionals, including a specialist accountant, tax lawyer and investor will share insights and discuss HMRC’s Seed Enterprise Investment Scheme (SEIS) and Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS). This brilliant programme helps support London to be a leading start-up city.

Ross Fabian is Partner, Audit at HWFisher and Head of the Technology Division. He has 20 years’ experience of providing expert accounting, audit, taxation and corporate finance advice to UK owner-managed businesses and international groups. He operates across all sectors, with particular expertise in technology, property and recruitment. His clients include well-known technology companies, large property groups and multinational recruitment agencies. Prior to joining HW Fisher in 2017, he was a partner at Blick Rothenberg.


Tony Littner is a Partner in Harbottle & Lewis Corporate Group and Head of the firm’s Startup and Venture Capital Group. He provides strategic corporate and commercial advice to growing entrepreneurial businesses, angel and super angel investors, venture capital funds and family offices as well as handling a broad range of company/commercial work, including private company mergers and acquisitions, disposals, reorganisations, joint ventures and shareholder arrangements. He is consistently recommended as one of the leading venture capital lawyers in the UK by all the major legal directories.


Charlotte Mason (GEMBA 07D) is an angel investor with a portfolio of 21 investments.  Charlie is a former manufacturing engineer and ERP specialist who worked with J.D.Edwards, PeopleSoft and Oracle.  She now works in the start-up world as an investor, strategic advisor, mentor, lecturer and NED.  Charlotte is INSEAD’s Startup Bootcamp Director in Fontainebleau and Abu Dhabi.  She is also a Venture Partner at Antler London.


David Scott is a Partner at Harbottle & Lewis. His core practice involves tax advice for entrepreneurs and their businesses. David advises on share and business acquisitions, disposals and share incentive arrangements including the adoption of employee share schemes to tailored share-based arrangements for senior management and the use of employee benefit trusts. He also advises on the tax aspects of fundraising through EIS and SEIS for both investors and investee companies. As the Head of the Charities and Philanthropy Group, he advises not-for-profit organisations and individual philanthropists on all charity law issues.
