Global INSEAD Day – London
An evening at the English National Opera
Wednesday 12 October
This year the UK Association is celebrating Global INSEAD Day a little later than usual with an evening at the English National Opera on Wednesday October 12.
We are delighted that Cressida Pollock, CEO of the English National Opera, will join our pre-performance reception as our guest speaker, introduced by our host, ENO Board Member Huw van Steenis (MBA 95J), followed by a performance of Tosca.
Cressida Pollock (MBA Sloan) was appointed CEO of one of the UK’s top 10 performing arts organisations just over a year ago, one of the few women leaders in any of the national arts companies. We’re proud to celebrate with Cressida in her first year as she manages the organisation’s transition to a more private sector funded arts organisation. In the last 12 months the ENO chorus and orchestra have won an Olivier Award and Chorus of the Year at the International Opera Awards.
Tosca is a rollercoaster story of love, lust, murder and political intrigue. With its dramatic story line and Puccini’s richly romantic score, it is one of the world’s best loved operas.
This will be an opportunity for you to hear from Cressida and Huw, catch up with friends from INSEAD, and enjoy an evening at the ENO. There are three different ticket prices, which include the pre-opera reception and interval refreshments.
We encourage you to register as soon as possible as numbers are limited.
