Many organisations are struggling to adjust their business processes to the new reality of remote – or distributed – working. Meetings focused on reviewing pre-prepared material work well remotely with a screen share and a speaker but meetings that require brain-storming or a collaborative approach can be more challenging.
- How can you drive the right level of collaboration and participation?
- How can you ensure they’re efficient but still give everyone the chance to contribute?
- How can you ensure the important items bubble to the top?
The reality is that many businesses have been doing this for years and there are some tools and processes that are great to help you maximise the remote productivity of your team.
This 1 ½ hour hands-on session uses concepts from the GV Design Sprint process in a fast-paced problem-solving format. One of the tools we use is a Lightning Decision Jam (a tool developed by AJ & Smart) – a practical and collaborative tool to run a one-hour Design Sprint. We also leverage Mural (an online whiteboard) for virtual post-it notes, a whiteboard space and voting dots to work through the exercises, whilst video chatting.
Rather than viewing remote working as an obstacle, this session will help you embrace the realities and exploit the potential. This session introduces you to tools (Zoom & Mural) we use while working remotely using the Design Thinking concepts. We will show you how you can get everyone’s voice heard and make sure that the important issues bubble to the top.
You don’t need to be familiar with the tools or the concepts as we will show you as we go along. Anyone who signs up will be asked for their email, and we will send on the links to the tools we will be using 1 hour before the event.
