International Women’s Day
Thursday 14 March, 18:30 for 19:00
Following on from International Women’s Day, the UK INSEAD alumni association is holding an event to celebrate the diversity of our alumni community, most specially INSEAD women.
To make this a lively, fun, interactive, yet thought provoking evening, we will feature several TED style talks given by alumni both women and men, each five minutes long followed by a couple of audience questions, themed on “the competitive advantage (or not) of being an INSEAD woman”.
The speakers and audience will share how in their business lives they have navigated biases against women, championed women colleagues and delivered (or not) the benefits of gender balanced management teams. Further they will reflect how being an INSEAD alum has served them in these endeavours. Given that our speakers are from different INSEAD promotions we will be able to determine the extent of change over the years and think about how to accelerate this.
Confirmed speakers:
Vivek Batra (MBA, 91D), Managing Partner, Alphaskill
Tanis Crosby (MBA 12J) Head of Investec UK Principal Investment
Helen Hallpike (MBA, 89D), Business Lecturer, King’s College London
