Research evidence, career gurus and leadership experts are unanimous: Exposure and visibility are crucial to career success. So how do we define these factors and then increase them?

Self-promotion can be a particular challenge for women, who may be culturally conditioned to downplay their achievements and expect to be noticed on their own merits. Our panel will share perspectives to help those of us who struggle to stand out and achieve the success they deserve. All welcome.

Frans Campher is CEO of Integral Leadership Dynamics, which delivers development and coaching programmes to senior leaders and top teams across many sectors. Frans has a particular interest in the challenges facing female leaders.

Carolina Costa (MBA 98J) is Managing Director at Orange Innovation UK, following 10 years at Orange in various leadership roles spanning strategy, performance and change. Prior to joining Orange, Carolina held roles in consulting, manufacturing and telecoms in the UK, Japan and Brazil.

Samantha Gerhart (MBA 05J) is Global Markets EMEA Chief of Staff at BNP Paribas and has held several leadership roles at the company since joining its International Retail Business Development team in 2007. Previously, she spent two years in the Global Strategy Team at Samsung, Seoul.

Niamh O’Keefe is author of FT Pearson books, including How to get ahead and get promoted and Chairman/Founder of First100 which helps C-suite executives to accelerate performance in their first 100 days. Niamh is also Managing Director of CEOAssist, which helps CEOs to develop their legacy plan.

Caroline Turner is a consultant at Sapphire Partners, a diversity-focussed recruitment firm. Caroline has extensive experience helping organisations develop gender diversity strategies. She led the Global Management Masters programme at the University of Buckingham and has worked with Cranfield to co-write four female FTSE reports published by the International Centre for Women Leaders.

We do not sell tickets on the door. To qualify for a refund, cancellations must be received at least six working days before the event.
