Lord Blackwell became Chairman of Lloyds Banking Group plc in April 2014, having joined the Board as a Non-Executive Director in 2012. He is also a former Senior Independent Director of Standard Life plc. Before that he was a partner of McKinsey & Co and Director of Group Development at NatWest Group. He is currently a Governor of The Yehudi Menuhin School and a member of the governing body of the Royal Academy of Music.
