This event is supported by Evercore
This event will focus on the demanding and complex world of long-term strategic private equity investment. Our speaker, Johannes Huth, will offer his experience of KKR’s asset management business, focussing on the organisation’s reputation as an industry ‘big winner’, able to build large established businesses, allowing for time and attention to be spent on business development, including client services, product definition and strategy, rather than being defined by short-term investment goals.
Johannes P Huth is a Member of global investment firm KKR, Head of KKR’s EMEA operations and serves on the company’s investment and management committees. He previously worked for Investcorp and Salomon Brothers.
Johannes is Vice Chairman of the Supervisory Board of NXP BV, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of WMF, member of the Board of SoftwareOne, member of the Supervisory Board of GEG German Estate Group and on the Board of Cognita.
He is also chair of the trustees of Impetus – Private Equity Foundation, a charitable organisation set up by the PE industry to help young people not in education, employment or training. He is Vice-Chair of the Board of Trustees of the British Design Museum, trustee of the Staedel Museum in Frankfurt, and trustee of The Education Endowment Foundation. He is a member of the Global Advisory Board of the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, a Visiting Fellow of Oxford University and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. He has a BSc from the London School of Economics and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
