The UK’s private rented sector
Wednesday 9 November
This events is supported by Venn Partners
The growth of the UK’s private rented sector is a case study of successful public-private co-operation. The British government has recognised the need to implement measures that encourage housing development. One of its initiatives, the £3.5bn Private Rented Sector Guarantee Scheme, has provided the much-needed funding for the rise of a new institutional asset class.
Venn Partners is an investment manager which is the delivery partner for the scheme, responsible for establishing and managing it, including the origination, underwriting and management of the loans. Our speaker, Richard Green, will outline the opportunities and challenges that the sector faces and his views on its future.
Richard Green is a Partner at Venn Partners. He leads the PRS bond programme and oversees Venn Partners’ credit structuring and analytics practice. Formerly in the securitisation groups at JP Morgan and Fitch Ratings, Richard has 18 years’ experience in the asset finance and credit markets. He has created and managed innovative financing solutions, as well as designing and developing cutting-edge credit risk and valuation analytical tools.
