Private equity’s secondary market has experienced rapid growth over the last decade as the private equity asset class has grown and evolved. The key secondaries players will review the market and its recent developments with us.
Francois Aguerre (MBA 05D) is Partner, Co-Head of Origination at Coller Capital. Francois is responsible for managing the firm’s investment origination activities worldwide, he is based in the firm’s London office. Prior to joining Coller Capital, Francois worked in the investment banking division of UBS in London. Previously, he worked at Gimar Finance and PAI Partners in Paris, and at Société Générale in New York.
Guillaume Caulier is a Principal of Lexington Partners primarily engaged in the evaluation of secondary purchases of non-U.S. private equity and alternative investments. Prior to joining Lexington in 2010, Mr Caulier was an associate in investment banking at Arma Partners and prior to that he was an analyst in investment banking at Deutsche Bank. Mr Caulier graduated from the Sorbonne University in Paris with a BSc (Honors) in economics and business administration and from Bocconi University with a European masters in corporate finance.
Marie-Victoire Rozé is Managing Director at Ardian. Marie-Victoire joined Ardian as Analyst in Paris in 2005 after an eight-month internship within the Fund of Funds team. She held various internships in Paris: JP Morgan (Investment Banking) M&A Department, Banque pour le Développement des Petites et Moyennes Entreprises, Keolis and in New York: Merrill Lynch (private banking) and Nike Communications.
Moderator: Lea Lazaric Calvert (MBA 06J) is Managing Director at Evercore where she heads Evercore’s European Private Capital Advisory team. Prior to joining Evercore in 2015, Lea worked for eight years in private equity fundraising at UBS, and spent five years in capital markets prior to that. She has extensive coverage of institutional investors across Europe and has advised on numerous GP-led transactions.
