Tech Entrepreneurs Panel & Networking
Tuesday 28 November

This event is sponsored by Balderton Capital

Tech entrepreneurs are a fast-growing section of the INSEAD community and there are now plenty of examples of exits from our alumni. It’s been a while since we met up to share perspectives and hear from successful tech entrepreneurs and we’re looking forward to our autumn meeting.

Our November event will be moderated by Rob Moffat (MBA 04D), Partner at Balderton Capital, with tech entrepreneur panellists. Join us for a stimulating evening which will give plenty of space to a panel discussion and networking.

Our speakers:

Ricky Knox (MBA 03D) is a serial entrepreneur and investor. He has built five technology disruptors in fintech and telecoms, each of which also does a bit of good for the world. Ricky is currently building the customer champion digital bank of the future, but has previously disrupted remittances with Azimo and Small World (the 6th largest remitter in the world), FX and mobile telecoms. Ricky is also Managing Partner at Hexagon Partners, a specialist private equity firm which invests in financial technology.

Maria Raga (MBA 07J) is the CEO of depop. Originally from Valencia, Spain, Maria has been at Depop since 2014. Prior to that, she was part of the funding team of Groupon Europe and a consultant at Bain & Company. She holds an MBA from Insead and lives in London with her husband and two children.

Reshma Sohoni (MBA 03J) is Co-founder and Managing Partner at Seedcamp, Europe’s seed fund, identifying and investing early in world-class founders attacking large, global markets and solving real problems using technology. Since launch a decade ago, Seedcamp has invested in 250 startups including fintech unicorn TransferWise.

Cameron Stevens (MBA 06J) is the CEO and founder of Prodigy Finance. Prodigy Finance provides loans to international postgraduate students attending the world’s top universities. Their borderless credit model covers 118 countries. Unlike traditional financiers, Prodigy Finance loans are collectively funded by alumni, institutional investors and qualified private investors who receive both a financial and social return.
