The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo

The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo has been a highlight of the world-famous Edinburgh Festival for over seventy years. In recent years, the event has broadened beyond its military origins and brings together more than 900 musicians and performers from around the world for a nightly spectacle of dance, music and fireworks directly in front of Edinburgh’s ancient castle, with amazing views down over the city.

A visit to the Edinburgh Tattoo has become something of a tradition among Scottish Alumni in recent years and the later performance on Friday evening, starting at 21:30 provides an ideal opportunity for Alumni from further afield to visit Scotland’s capital for the weekend while the Festival is in full flow and catch a show or two from the vast selection at the Edinburgh Fringe.

We will be meeting at Badger & Co at 19:30 for you to collect your Tattoo tickets and catch up for a drink with friends before leaving at 21:00 to walk to Edinburgh Castle for the performance.
