Studies show investing in women, gender balanced leadership, and women-led companies reap ample financial rewards and the needed shift toward diversification won’t happen without proactive change of the whole ecosystem. Companies with at least one female co-founder receive less than 10 percent of venture capital in the United States. Women also represent a similarly small part of the venture capital workforce.
