INSEAD Women in Business NYC brings you a panel of experts, including Chairman & CEO, Pernod Ricard Ann Mukherjee, as well as successful entrepreneurs and investment professionals, to explore promising initiatives that will create change.
Our Moderator Ripa Rashid, Managing Director, Culture at Work will engage our panelists in a followup discussion, with Loretta McCarthy, Managing Partner, Goldenseeds VC & Private Equity, Bonnie Thakhar, former CEO of Halston, Jimmy Choo and Earl Jeans turned Tech Entrepreneur, Charlie O’Donnell, Founder & General Partner, Brooklyn Bridge Ventures, and Marta Plana Cros, Entrepreneur, The Ritualist and APTO Skincare and INSEAD alumna.
You will hear from this panel of seasoned experts and take part in a discussion on what is needed to drive and expedite a real shift towards investing in women.
Studies show investing in women, gender balanced leadership, and women-led companies reap ample financial rewards and the needed shift toward diversification won’t happen without proactive change of the whole ecosystem. Companies with at least one female co-founder receive less than 10 percent of venture capital in the United States. Women also represent a similarly small part of the venture capital workforce.
This event is for men and women interested in making a difference to maximize your own and your company’s success – from start up to SMEs, to multi-million dollar international conglomerates. Champagne, wine and cocktails & nibbles to follow!
This is event is generously sponsored by Pernod Ricard.
Organized by INSEAD Women in Business Club, IAA Tri-State Area.
