Dr. Paige Williams will share insights from her research and extensive experience working with CEOs, teams and individuals. Her book “Becoming AntiFragile – Learning to thrive through disruption, challenge and change” asks – and answers – how can we be better through our struggle experiences and learn to thrive through disruption, challenge and change. It combines the latest research in neuroscience, psychology and leadership into practical, actionable ways to reduce fragility and move beyond resilience to confidently navigate uncertainty. Her work helps organizations and individuals embrace change rather than resist it, lean into challenge rather than avoid it and learn to thrive when times get tough.

Speakers’ bios:

Dr. Paige Williams is a wellbeing and leadership expert, an Honorary Fellow of the Centre for Wellness Science at the University of Melbourne and an Associate of Melbourne Business School. She is the author of the book “Becoming Anti-Fragile: Learning to Thrive through disruption, challenge & change.” Dr. Williams holds a PhD in Organizational Behavior and Development from the University of Melbourne & a Certificate in Change Management from the Australian Graduate School of Management.

Liana Slater is an executive education and social impact leader and an angel investor. She is Co-Founder and Co-President of the INSEAD Alumni Women in Business Global Club, and co-produces the IWiB Stories Podcast. Liana’s marketing career spans traditional media and technology, from The Economist Group to Google and she relocated to Silicon Valley in 2000 after INSEAD and was an early Google executive from 2003. Most recently, she led partnerships and built and implemented executive leadership programs for Fortune 500 companies and a celebrated business accelerator program for the City of NY. Liana holds an MBA and a Certificate in Leadership in the Digital Age, from INSEAD.
