Engaging with INSEAD
Nida Januskis Associate Dean of Advancement |
“The school is incredibly grateful for our great partnership with our community of 3,000+ volunteers. This begins with the volunteers who dedicate their time to the INSEAD Alumni Association and INSEAD Alumni Fund, and includes all our volunteers from our National Alumni Associations and Global Clubs, our Reunion Volunteers, Young Alumni Ambassadors, Fundraising Volunteers, Alumni Interviewers and Marketing Ambassadors. Each of these individuals are vital to our success, and in turn to the success of our alumni. Staying connected to the school by becoming a volunteer is a great way of extending your time at INSEAD and to grow your global network!”
Volunteering for a National Alumni Association, National Alumni Club or Global Club
More than 60 National Alumni Associations (NAAs), National Alumni Clubs, and Global Clubs around the world (including one near you!) are engaging, networking with and serving their communities. Volunteers such as association/club presidents, committee members and others organize events, drive association membership, support alumni in their careers and strengthen overall local alumni engagement efforts.

I volunteer for INSEAD to give back to a community from which I have derived strength and conviction of belief that collectively we can make this world a better place.
Serving as President of the National Alumni Association of The Netherlands has allowed me to connect with a wide range of like-minded people from INSEAD’s global network of volunteers, and to give back to a school who’s mission I strongly believe in. Volunteering is a great way of extending one’s time at INSEAD and of making lifelong friends.”

INSEAD has come of age at a critical moment for the world. Supporting scholarship and academic excellence through giving to INSEAD is my way of investing in the future. Interacting with alumni across the globe, I am constantly reminded of how remarkable INSEADers are. It is always personally rewarding to work with this amazing group of volunteers.
In my role as an IAF volunteer, I am lucky enough to interact and organise events with fellow alumni, while helping out the school that has brought me so much… not only during my MBA, but also as an INSEAD alumnus.
Serving the Young Alumni Community
Young Alumni Initiative (YAI) Ambassadors (first 5 years after graduation) around the world are using their skills as connectors to build engagement among their classmates. From driving attendance at the one-year reunion, to encouraging participation-level giving to fostering a lifelong bond with INSEAD, the YAI Ambassadors play a crucial role in the development of INSEAD.

Supporting young alumni engagement is as rewarding as it is essential. Interacting with a brilliant crowd, full of energy, stimulating them to give back the day they leave school with the goal to enable others to graduate with the same level of joy and endless ambition.
Get Involved in your Class Reunion
Each year, more than 2,000 alumni and guests return to one of the INSEAD campuses to reconnect with friends and celebrate the community. Working together with staff, volunteers make these reunions memorable and inspiring!

“The immense amusement around Reunions hides their true purpose: cementing class values and camaraderie. What fun organising this subterfuge!”
Participation rate matters. A lot. It is the act of giving, not the amount, that shows gratitude to INSEAD and solidifies bonds amongst alumni. I am beyond proud to “walk the talk” along with my MBA’10J classmates, demonstrating our collective exceptionalism by rallying to set a record 70% participation rate for a 10th reunion.
